✨ Introduction

The Gevrey-Chambertin Regnard 2023 from Domaine Valeria Naudin is one of the rarest micro-cuvées from the Côte de Nuits. With just 600 bottles produced, this is a collector’s Burgundy that perfectly showcases Naudin’s low-intervention philosophy and her refined, terroir-driven approach.

🍇 Tasting Note

A vibrant, whole-cluster Pinot Noir with lifted aromatics and mineral backbone.

• Nose: wild red berries, rose petals, a touch of spice, light earthiness
• Palate: energetic and elegant, fine tannins, savoury depth, vibrant acidity
• Finish: long, mineral and structured, revealing more complexity with air and age

🌱 Terroir & Vinification

Lieu-dit “Regnard”, Gevrey-Chambertin — only 600 bottles!

• Southeast-facing plateau near Morey-Saint-Denis, with marly soil and scree
• The name “Regnard” hints at the historical presence of foxes in these vineyards

Vinification (fully artisanal):

• 100% hand-harvested & double sorting
• 100% whole-cluster fermentation
• Spontaneous fermentation starting day 4
• Gentle extraction: 3 bucket pump-overs, foot work, light pneumatic pressing
• Ageing: 13+ months in old 228 L barrels from Saint-Martin (Vosges)
• Additional 4.5 months in vat
• No added sulfur
• Light lenticular filtration before bottling

🍽️ Serving & Ageing

Enjoyable now, but best after 5+ years for optimal harmony and complexity.
Serve at 16°C.

👩‍🍷 About the Producer – Valeria Naudin

Valeria Naudin is a dynamic micro-negociant based in Ladoix. After a career change from Paris to Burgundy, she trained in cellar work, wine education and agricultural facility management. She gained experience at Domaine Jean-Louis Bergen and Domaine Michel Mallard et Fils, later launching her own label in 2020 with support from renowned winemaker Bernard Zito.

Her philosophy:
low-intervention, purity, terroir expression, and spotlighting overlooked microclimates.

The Gevrey-Chambertin Regnard is more powerful than her “Petite Charmotte”, with a distinct mineral note from the southern part of the village. A classic yet refined Gevrey—structured, expressive, and unmistakably Naudin.
