The Montagny 1er Cru 2020 delights the senses with lush aromas of toasted brioche, ripe yellow fruit like peach and mirabelle plum, subtle notes of honey and a hint of hazelnut. On the palate it is rich and creamy, with a velvety mouthfeel and a long, harmonious finish. Thanks to bottle age and the generosity of the warm vintage, this is a Chardonnay with real depth — a nod to Meursault but at a more accessible price.
