On the eastern slopes just above the village of Pommard lies Les Noizons, a historic vineyard known for its marl-limestone soils and ideal exposure. Here, Vincent Girardin crafts a muscular yet elegant Pinot Noir that reflects the terroir’s natural tension. The 2023 vintage shows depth, freshness, and earthy charm – a classic Pommard with firm tannins, dark fruit, and serious aging potential.
🍷 Tasting Note – Structured & Earthy
In the glass, this Pommard reveals a deep ruby colour with violet hues. The nose offers aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and violets, followed by subtle notes of graphite, bay leaf, and damp forest floor. On the palate, it is firm and full-bodied, with ripe tannins, vivid acidity, and a core of dark fruit. The finish is long and layered, revealing roasted spices, cedar, and earthy minerality. Still youthful but already balanced – and built to age.
