This single-parcel wine reflects both the ruggedness of the terroir and the playful spirit of its makers: a wine that bursts with energy and personality.

🍒 Tasting notes

In the glass, Croix Pennet shows itself as wild, lively and surprisingly deep.

• Nose: ripe cherries and blackberries, followed by hints of vanilla and dark chocolate after some air.
• Palate: juicy and energetic, with a velvety texture and a fine tension between fresh fruit and deeper layers.
• Finish: smooth, refined, with a slightly spicy, mysterious signature unique to this vineyard.

🌱 Terroir & Vinification

• 📍 Location: 0.5 ha parcel on the border of Lantignié and Régnié, south-facing.
• ⛰️ Soil: full of large granite rocks, giving mineral tension and lively energy.
• 🍇 Grapes: 100% Gamay, farmed naturally.
• 🍷 Vinification: 11 days semi-carbonic maceration. Then 70% aged for 8 months in used Burgundy barrels and 30% in stainless steel.
• 🔢 Production: only 2340 bottles – a true micro-cuvée.
