2023, even today burgundy has some surprises up its sleeves. Sometimes a not noteworthy domaine shows up with something spectacular. Grapes from Peronne, just on the other side of Vire and Clesse with a very different character. More in line with Azé, Verzé style wise. The most floral wine I've ever tasted. Almost a Rhône like juicy viognier vibe but more mineral. Dancing around freshness and flowery ripeness giving it a friendly & playful yet high quality feel to it. Loads of white fruit, but kept neatly dry.
