Just a two-hour drive from Paris lies Domaine Houblin-Vernin in Coulanges-la-Vineuse, in the Yonne, just south of Auxerre. What started in 1988 with barely 1.5 hectares in Migé, grew through the dedication of Jean-Luc Houblin into an estate of 35 hectares today. In 2022, Jean-Luc handed over the reins to the young Valentin Vernin, who is already impressing Burgundy insiders with his fresh vision and down-to-earth craftsmanship.
