Les Ruelles entices the senses with layered aromas and an opulent, refined palate:
- Nose: Anise, menthol and crisp minerality dominate at first, accompanied by zesty notes of lemon and lime peel. With some aeration, deeper nuances appear: quince, white peach, fresh almond, a hint of white and black pepper, and subtle liquorice.
- Palate: The mouthfeel is round, rich and generous yet beautifully fresh. A distinctive minty freshness is elegantly followed by oak-influenced notes of blond tobacco, brioche and chamomile. The full-bodied flavour expresses the Les Ruelles terroir with perfect clarity â powerful and refined at once, with a superbly long finish.
