Champagne
Located in the northeast of France, the Champagne region is world famous for its sparkling wines of unparalleled quality and elegance. This wine region, with cities such as Reims and Épernay as centers, is best known for its sparkling wine that bears the same name: Champagne.
Made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, or sometimes exclusively from one of these grape varieties, Champagne wines have become synonymous with festive occasions and luxury. The unique method of secondary fermentation in the bottle, known as the méthode traditionnelle, creates the characteristic bubbles and complex flavors that characterize Champagne.
