✨ The local favourite, served where the locals eat!
Nestled in the very heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, in the historic hamlet of Pouilly, lies Domaine de la Chapelle – a small but mighty estate spanning just 7.65 hectares. If you’ve ever dined at the beloved La Courtille de Solutré, chances are high you’ve already tasted these sought-after wines: the bottles of Pascal Rollet and his Domaine de la Chapelle rarely stay unopened for long on any local wine list.
Pascal Rollet, instantly recognisable by his signature cowboy hat, is as down-to-earth as his wines are refined. He prefers spending every possible moment among his vines, yet he’s always ready to pour you a glass and share a story whenever you visit. His reputation for crafting soulful Pouilly-Fuissé wines makes Domaine de la Chapelle a must-know name in the South of Burgundy.
The flagship cuvée, AX-B, is the ultimate postcard from the Sud-Bourgogne. The name stands for Aux Bouthières, referring to their prime vineyard plot. Technically, this exact parcel is an extension of the prestigious Aux Bouthières 1er Cru terroir – not yet officially certified, but carrying all the same sunshine, soil, and southern Chardonnay charm. So while the 1er Cru status is on the horizon, for now you enjoy the same premium quality without the extra cost.
✨ Domaine de la Chapelle – where a glass of Pouilly-Fuissé tastes like the South of Burgundy in its purest, most welcoming form. Discover it now and taste why the locals love it!
